01Sound familiar?

Leads arrive from everywhere and get answered from nowhere.

Enquiries come through your website, listing sites, phone calls, texts and social messages, often into different inboxes. The business that replies first usually wins, and the business checking five places rarely replies first.
  1. Leads from listing sites and your own website end up in different places.
  2. Booking a service still means a phone call during opening hours.
  3. The same customer details are typed into more than one system.
  4. Follow-up after a sale or a service depends on someone remembering.

If two of these sound familiar, the worksheet is for you.

02What’s inside

One worksheet. Four steps. One automation decision.

  1. 01

    List it

Write down every repeat job a person does by hand, even the small ones. A prompt list helps you remember the ones nobody mentions.

  2. 02

    Score it

Three questions per job: how much time, how costly is a mistake, how clear are the rules. A simple formula turns it into a priority number.

  3. 03

    Pick one

A decision rule tells you which job to automate first, and a checklist tells you whether it is ready or needs a process fix first.

Plus a worked example, so you can see a finished row before you fill in your own.

Step 2 of the worksheet: a table for scoring each job on hours per month, cost of a mistake and how clear the rules are.
The worksheet: score each job with three questions.
The one-page scorecard: a table for ten jobs with a decision rule and scoring guide.
The scorecard: ten jobs and the decision rule on one page.
03How it works

Three steps, about twenty minutes.

  1. STEP 1

    Enter your email.

We send one message to confirm it is you.

  2. STEP 2

    Download the worksheet.

Print it. It takes about 20 minutes, and works with any shop or dealer management system.

  3. STEP 3

    Use it on your own.

If you want a second opinion, book fifteen minutes. No deck, no pitch.

04Is it for you?

Who it helps, and who it does not.

For you if

  • You run an independent dealership, repair shop, detailer or specialist automotive business.
  • You can name at least three jobs somebody does by hand every week.
  • You would rather know what to fix before you pay anyone to fix it.

Not for you if

  • You are a franchise dealer locked into a manufacturer-mandated platform. The worksheet still helps with follow-up, but you may not control the tools.
  • Nobody on your side could own the tools once they are wired up. Automation needs an owner.
  • You want a finished system from a form. The worksheet finds the right job. It does not build it.

05Questions

Before you sign up.

What is a business process automation audit?

It is a structured look at the repeat jobs people do by hand, to decide which are worth automating and in what order. The Monday Morning Audit is a do-it-yourself version you can finish in about 20 minutes.

Is this made for dealerships and shops?

It works for any business with repeat manual jobs. This page uses automotive examples, such as lead replies, service booking and follow-up, because that is where many lead and scheduling jobs pile up.

What do I get?

A short PDF worksheet with a worked example, a scoring formula and a decision checklist, plus a one-page scorecard to keep every job in one place. Print them.

Is it really free?

Yes. You get the worksheet for your email address, followed by a short series of emails. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Does it work with our dealer or shop management system?

The worksheet assumes no tools. It works the same whether you use a DMS, a shop system, spreadsheets, a CRM or paper. If you want something built later, we confirm what your system supports before we build anything.

Should I use AI or plain automation?

Sometimes AI, but most jobs on a typical list need better integrations and clearer rules, not AI. The worksheet scores how clear the rules are for each job. Jobs with clear rules usually suit plain automation. Jobs that depend on judgment are where AI sometimes helps, and where a person often stays in the loop.
