01Sound familiar?

A good-looking site can still be invisible.

Nothing is dramatically broken. Page titles say “Home”. The services are described in words nobody searches for. The site is slow on a phone, and the Google Business Profile has not been touched since it was set up. Together, it keeps you off the first page.
  1. You do not appear when you search for your own service and city.
  2. Your page titles are your business name, or just “Home”.
  3. Search Console is not set up, or nobody looks at it.
  4. Your Google Business Profile has old hours, photos or services.

If two of these sound familiar, the checklist is for you.

02What’s inside

Six checks. Fifteen minutes. One list of gaps.

  1. 01

    Search yourself

Search your service and your city, the way a customer would. Write down where you show up, and who does.

  2. 02

    Titles and descriptions

Read the title on your five most important pages. Each should say what you do and where.

  3. 03

    Search Console

Check it exists, that you can log in, and that somebody looks at it.

  4. 04

    Google Business Profile

Hours, photos, services and reviews: current, or left as they were on day one?

  5. 05

    Speed on a phone

A free speed test and a look at your site on mobile data. Note the biggest thing it flags.

  6. 06

    One page per service

Does each service have its own page that answers the questions customers ask before they call?

Each check says where to look and leaves space to write what you found.

03How it works

Three steps, about fifteen minutes.

  1. STEP 1

    Enter your email.

We send one message to confirm it is you.

  2. STEP 2

    Download the checklist.

Print it, set a 15-minute timer and run the six checks.

  3. STEP 3

    Use it on your own.

If you want a second opinion, book fifteen minutes and tell us what you found. No deck, no pitch.

04Is it for you?

Who it helps, and who it does not.

For you if

  • You run a service business that depends on local and regional search.
  • Your site looks fine, but customers say they could not find you.
  • You would rather know what is wrong before you pay anyone to fix it.

Not for you if

  • You need results next week. SEO compounds over months. If you need enquiries now, paid search can run alongside it.
  • You want someone to fix it from a form. The checklist finds the gaps. It does not close them.
  • You are looking for a guaranteed ranking. Nobody can promise one.

05Questions

Before you sign up.

What is an SEO self-check?

It is a short list of checks you can run on your own site, without tools or training, to spot the common reasons a business is hard to find in search. This one takes about 15 minutes and covers titles, Search Console, your Google Business Profile, speed and service pages.

What do I get?

A six-page PDF checklist with six numbered checks, where to look for each, tables to write down what you find, and a rule for picking your first fix. Print it.

Is it really free?

Yes. You get the checklist for your email address, followed by a short series of emails. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Can you guarantee first-page rankings?

No, and be wary of anyone who does. Rankings depend on competition and on factors no agency controls. The checklist shows you what is in your control.

How long does SEO take?

Technical fixes can be picked up within weeks. Meaningful ranking changes usually take a few months, which is why it is ongoing work, not a one-off.

What is local SEO?

Local SEO helps you show up when someone nearby searches for what you do, in the map results and the listings beneath them. It depends heavily on your Google Business Profile, consistent business details and pages that match what local customers search for.

What is the difference between SEO and AEO?

SEO gets your pages ranked in search results. AEO, answer engine optimization, gets your answers quoted by AI assistants. They share foundations, so fixing one usually helps the other.
